Condemning only comes from God.
If God tells me in His word,
Mark 16:16
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
OR
John 3:18
"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
Am I really condemning you, or is that my Heavenly Father?
All this badgering Christians about condemning people is false. Christians are supposed to love and minister to the unsaved, that's it. Nobody is condemning you.

No, people who are telling you, "you're going to hell," aren't condemning you. They are just repeating what God said in the Bible. God is condemning you, and you may be condemning yourself.
And just because you may not believe our Bible, we know it's the truth. So don't we have the right to express to others what God tells us in His word?
It's like if your parent told you, "don't eat any cookies from the cookie jar or you'll get grounded!" And you heard it. But your brother comes along and tells you, "Mom said don't eat any cookies or you'll get grounded!"
Is your brother condemning you to get grounded when it was your mother who told you, in the first place, that if you eat it you'll get grounded? No.

How am I a hypocrite if I believe that JESUS IS LORD, and you don't? How is that hypocrisy?
Hmm, God tells me, "believe and you will enter the Kingdom of God, or don't believe, and you won't." You're saying I'm a hypocrite because I believe and all I'm doing is trying to share the same info that God told me, to you?

The Word of God is given for reproof, correction and instruction.
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness...
2 Timothy 4:3,4,5
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Christians are so desperate to bring the unsaved into the knowledge of God before it is too late, that maybe we seem pushy, but we love the unbelievers and we want them in heaven with us.

By quoting passages that condemn, you are in essence, condemning. This is why people accuse Christians of condemning. Christians always pick and choose scriptures to validate their own belief. They also pick and choose scriptures to condem people who don't live or believe in the manner that Christians do. Remember that the bible was wrote by men and not God. There is absolutely no scientific evidence that God wrote the bible.
Remember that Jesus was definitely not a Christian. He didn't even believe that Gentiles were entitled to his ministry until late in his life.
If Christians would just follow the words of Jesus and not get caught up in all the rhetoric, the world would embrace Christians.
Remember that Jesus said the 2 greatest commandments are to Love God with all your heart and to love you neighbor as yourself.
When you quote rhetoric that condems, you are not following the 2 greatest commandments.
Jesus never condemned anybody. Most of the scriptures were added by men long after Jesus died.
Peace...to you...Love

Then love and minister and stop telling people God has condemned them.
Or do you think the bible gives you license to read God's mind on everything about everyone and dictate to others what you believe HIS plans are for them?

Oh I have found a condemning Christian or two, heck a condemning Catholic or two- I believe the reference is not the kind of 'condemnation' that you are pulling out of the book.
I have had experience with many Catholics and Christians whom I find very guarded and judgemental. And we've all heard the woes of Christian and Catholic young adults who tell tales of abandonment, judgement, or outright exile from their church members when poop hits the fan- such as a teen pregnancy, premarital sex, or drug experimentation.
I am not anti-Catholic or anti-Christian, but I think Christians and Catholics should be spending more time practicing and less time preaching. Stop spending so much time caught up in the literals of literature, and put them to life. Support one another, forgive one another, be open and loving toward one another- regardless of your opinion or preference for how one conducts their lives (yes, even sexually).
I'm proudest of my cousin most, who was recently baptised and attends church regularly- while the rest of the family is not Christian and we all had our hesitations about her decision- she has never stuffed it down our throat and I admire the positive changes it has made in her life, and the positive impact it has made on her personality (especially in her dealings with her family). I think she is a fine example of practice, instead of preach.

Because you're the ones that keep spreading the message of condemnation. To me, it just seems strange that I can have a conversation with a buddhist, a pagan, a jew, a scientologist .... and I don't hear about how I'm so wrong or how I'm going to be punished for all of eternity.
If you really don't want to be viewed as condemning, then stop spreading that hateful message. You said it yourself, you're supposed to love and minster to the unsaved. How about showing us an example of the love and tolerance that your founder preached about instead of typing up an R&S roll call for hell?

whether you like it or not there are some Christan's that do condemn people to hell. They say thing such as;
if you don't believe in Jesus you are not going to live a eternal life, you are going to hell.
I guess that is what you called love and to minster, manipulating people to believe in Jesus or otherwise you are going to hell. Maybe this is not how you do things, but there are Christians who do condemn people.

If you would stop just a moment, and use rational thought, you would be aware that throwing words at someone about their eternal life IS condemning them, no matter where you get the words. I'm really not feeling that Christian love from you right now.

I don't know any Christians. If you're talking about church people, I never said they condemn; I said they're nutty.
I said their religion is nothing like the religion Jesus had.
I said their belief is emotional, and does not need evidence; it's just plain nutty.
Who cares if they condemn. I'm told Jesus used to heal the lame. Would it be asking too much to ask him to come down and heal all the church people EN MASSE???

Christian's don't condemn? Then how come I hear people who think of themselves as Christians condemning things like homosexuality, secular humanism, Islam, and all sorts of other things all the time?
