Okay, I once weighed 205 lbs. Finally about 5 years ago, I got fed up. Went on Metabolift and lost 75 pounds! I maintained my weight for about 4 years. If I began to gain, I'd just use Metabolift and it would go back down. But Metabolift had ephedra, and you can't buy it anymore thanks to the ban. (That stinks for those of us who used it responsibly.) Now, I find myself gaining weight over the last year. Once again, I get up his morning at weighed 150 pounds at 5'7. I'm not "fat"...but I'm REALLY uncomfortable, and my clothes are getting tight. I still exercize EVERY day. I still try to watch what I eat. NOTHING is making this weight go back down. ANYbody been through this? What works? I'm 36. What can I do? (Not crazy about a colon cleanse, so NOT THAT!)
I'm going CRAZY because I feel it spinning out of control again. HELP!

I've just started to use Tight (by SAN) & it makes me feel/has the same effect on me as the ephedra based products I had used before. ( I wanted to loose 20lbs &, after 3 weeks I'm half-way there) Maybe you should give it a try....... just make sure you only take 1 a day, though (as it states on the container)

i would try oolong tea.... its not a "magic cure" but i bought some after i lost my weight (i needed to lose about 30, i lost 25... the last 5 is just AGH!) anyway you drink it a half hour before you eat. i always miss that part i usually endup drinking it a few mins before. it gives you an extra pep and "supposedly" helps your body from turning sugar into stored fat. youre not supposed to sweeten it, but i put a TINY bit of agave nectar in it anyway.... i havent lost the last 5 because im not diligent enough with it. However! i have noticed a change in the way i feel! i just *feel* lighter and it serves as a reminder just before you eat that you shouldnt get seconds!

Ephedra was a drug used to curb appetite. It appears to me that you are expecting a pill to control your eating habits rather than doing it yourself. What you really need to do is to get your eating habits in control without drugs.

Set your meal size smaller than average or try to always leave food on your plate. It's a visual way to tell yourself you're eating but not eating too much.

You're not remotely fat - but just used to a different weight...first, RELAX. Anxiety regarding weight jeopardizes weight loss. Next, if ephedra was helping curb your appetite, find a substitute for it. No drug is unique.

If you are eating the same and exercising regularly, then have you thought to check into the weight gain being something else. Such as hypothyroid or something like that?

you need to stop trying to watch what you eat and REALLY watch what you eat. that means no soda EVER even diet soda has sugar in it (betcha didn't know that). replace your meals with lean cuisine frozen meals, you can find them in the freezer section of the supermarket. they taste great and very easy to prepare which will make it easy to stay on your diet. just make sure each one you chose has less than 300 calories and less than 10 grams of fat. you can eat one for breakfast. one for lunch. one for a snack. and one for dinner. and thats all you should be eating because the key to losing weight is eating less calories than you burn in a day, period.

Try using a diet pill with Green Tea. It works better and more naturally then ephedrine to boost your metabolism. That is what I use. Also drinking natural green tea will help too.
