I don't have a tattoo, I was never into that stuff, but who has one and now wish they wouldn't have gotten it, or wish they'd put it in another spot. Like I see some older women in their 50's with a big tatto big as the base of the leg. I t's so tacky to me. Even when they're dressed their best, and if their legs are out, that tattoo make the whole outfit not look that well.

Let me clear the air, I don't won't to offend anyone. Just asking, because as you can see some people have gotten tattoos and now hate them. I can understand the ones who get them for life long reasonings. So I apologize if I came off like I was bashing peeps with tats. It's just you would have had to see this woman's leg to know what I really meant by it. Again sorry. My sister as like 4 and they are all pretty!! So it's not that I hate tats, it's just some of them are huge and they just look weird.

i don't agree at all that visible tattoos make a woman's outfit or dress look any less beautiful. i guess that's just your opinion.

when i was in college i got a psychadelic mushroom tattoo which i have since covered up but i don't really "regret" getting the tattoo because it reflected my personality at the time and i will always have been that person. it is a reminder of the past. i find that when people truly think out their tattoos and get something special to them they end up being happier with their tattoos in the long run.

Well its your opinion that it does not look good, but to the woman with the tattoo, if she regretted it, she'd make an effort to cover it up.

People do regret their tattoos, but I will never regret mine. They all have a value and memory attached to them that I will always be fond of and I spent plenty of time thinking about what I wanted and where I would put it. When I'm 50+ I'll be proud of my tattoos and happy I got them.

I have a tattoo of a fairy between my shoulder blade. And I wish I didn't have it now because its something for a little girl. Don't get me wrong it has great details in the wings and its a wonderful tattoo but its just getting old and its there for ever.

2 of which i like but one i absolutely HATE with a passion.
was 15 when i got it done and the tattooist knew my age and i stupidly had my at the time boyfriend name tattooed on to me! what a mistake was that!!
i had a chinese sign for love above the name also.
ive now got the name covered up but i really really hate it so much.
went to plastic surgery clinic where they laser it off and they quoted me £800!!!!!!

OMG.. I have one on my wrist of my firstborn also the same name as a notorious EX.. Even though its the same name as my son I absolutley HATE IT. The funny thing is my husband is a tattoo artist and he recommends me getting it removed!! Yes I know a "dumbass" move for me to make but at the time i was young and naive....

I love all my tattoos - 13 of them - many pretty big and all very visable. I will never regret them they all remind me of my life and where I have been. I will never be ashamed of them either. Just like Popeye says ---- "I AM WHAT I AM"

20 years from now, I will still be wearing my leg tattoo-and all the others proudly-because they all hold emotional meaning to me. I can't see ever regretting them.
