Hamsters are primarily nocturnal (night-active), though they may exhibit relatively short periods of activity throughout the day. During their active period, hamsters eat and exercise. Hamsters seem to especially enjoy exercise wheels and other activities. The plastic enclosures equipped with horizontal and vertical tube-tunnels mentioned above are highly recommended for this reason. Hamsters seem to really enjoy running through them. They also enjoy tin cans opened at both ends and boxes with multiple openings through which they can crawl.

Hamsters sleep most of the day. They are nocturnal so they will become annoyingly active and loud at night shortly. If they are male and female, they will mate and either you be overcrowded with hamsters or they will be eaten.

earlier I raised hamsters, I researched on the cyber web about their desires. 2 of the web pages I truthfully have visited says that hamsters might want to be briefly faraway from there cages and could be placed in a secure open area for 1/2-hour to 2 hours. This enables them have more suitable powerful blood circulations and robust muscle communities and limbs. This helped me tame my hamsters so as that they received't strive against. It extremely worked for me because i did not might want to purchase the ball. examine their food or water source. perhaps their became no clean food left that they haven't any capacity left. or perhaps their water source is both empty or dirty or that's not available for them attempt to provide them treats like culmination and vegetables; and some tiny bits of cake with out icing, bread soaked with clean milk, and some egg white.

Wake up at 3 am and check on them. They'll probably be active. Most rodents are nocturnal (sleep during the day, active at night).

Hamsters are nocturnal. They like to burrow and sleep during the day, and are active at night.

If they are dwarf hamsters they can share the cage and mate etc. If they are anything other than that then they should be separated. then put together in a neutral area to mate. then separated again.

they are nocturnal..........mine wake up by 7o'clock.
watch the cage, they will usually wake up at the same time everyday.

Hamsters become active at night and usually sleep during the day.

As far as when they will become sexually active, I have no idea.

If you plan to mate them, you better get two different cages. Males and females DO NOT live together. Right now they are probably too young, so they are ok.

What you have to do, when they are at the right age, is keep placing the male in the female cage. If she is ready she will "assume the position" and let him mate with her. If she is not, she will beat him up.

Once they are done doing it, get him out of her cage or she will beat him up.

I had several hamsters when growing up. Its very common for them to sleep alot and eat alot and then what they do, is keep you up at night in their tunnels and wheels. They are cute and fun. You should have gotten two girls or two boys, because they will have little ones and they keep breeding alot. Good luck:)
