Sounds like a normal weight to me. Check your bmi if you're interested further, I put a link below, it says you're normal.
Errr for the other stuff, keep in mind that noone is skinny anymore, and being skinny in itself can make you a social outcast.
Also weight loss doesn't make you cool or stop the regular insults, you'll still get picked on etc, so also work on developing that shield needed for dealing with stupid kids, there's a lot of them, eeeeeverywhere.

You are not overweight so I am not sure why your mom is trying to help you lose weight. You will be growing soon and your body will match up to your weight. Yes eating healthier s a great idea but for now concentrate on that and not the weight loss as you are not overweight. Also shame on your mother for making you think you are overweight when you aren't. Eat 3 sensible meals a day and a good snack between each meal to keep your blood sugar level and energy up and get exercise and things will be great by time the new school year starts.

whether you're too heavy or just right, I'm glad that you and your mom are eating healthy and taking care of yourselves. too many kids get fat and then can't get healthy as adults. you might be a bit overweight, but only like 5 or 10 pounds. the rule of thumb is 100 lbs at 5 feet tall and add 5 lbs for every inch over 5'. junior high is tough enough without being self conscious about your looks. good luck! hope you have a great time and learn a lot.

Hon, there is NO average weight for an 11 year old. Everyone is different. You haven't even hit puberty yet, so try to relax. Your body will go through so many changes over the next 8-9 years.

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be

Don't let anybody tell you that being fat is alright. People told me that so I kept eating before I was old enough to realize I was going to be socially outcast for being fat. No need to go anorexic or anything but it is much easier to get ahead in life if you are in some kind of decent shape.
