Titre du document / Document title
Model of nonlinear pulse-phase frequency tracking system with a second-order filter

Résumé / Abstract
A nonlinear model of a pulse-phase frequency-tracking system with a pulsewidth frequency-phase detector and a second-order filter is considered. Expressions are found describing the dynamics of system operation in frequency mode, including deviations from the equilibrium position so slight that the stability in the small may be investigated; this permits the calculation of transient processes in the system, taking account of the second-order filter.

I use APRS, it works through most of the US, even the rural areas. I have a Garmin GPS V feeding position reports to a Kenwood TM-D700A UHF/VHF transceiver which has a built-in TNC which kicks them out to the digipeater network on 144.390MHz every two minutes. When it's on I can be tracked through web sites like findu.com

I tell my friends when I am going off road and they can see how I get on and potentially come and find me if anything goes horribly wrong.

The cheap solution is to add a TinyTrak to a cheap VHF radio.
