Although positive thinking and believing in ones self is the only way one should be. "The Secret" goes a bit beyond that and leads to more of a superstitious belief in it. Of course religious people are suspicious of it. They aren't allowed the luxury of True positive thinking and they don't really believe in themselves. They'll claim they do, but in the end it's dependent upon their god's will or the idea that without Jesus they are nothing, unworthy, sinners, or some other such nonsense.

My friend Pip told me about her experiences leading up to her first division lottery win.
“It was weird because I had been doing affirmations saying ‘I am wealthy...” and “I’ve won lotto!!!!” I had the The Secret DVD and anyway I had been watching that and then started the " I am wealthy" affirmations…… http://www.psychic-junkie.com/psychic-wins-lottery.html
As a teacher of The Secret for many years, as well as being a profession psychic, I now recommend The Secret DVD to everyone. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/does-the-secret-really-work.html

It's not secret. That's simply using the powers of creative visualization we all have inside us.

I don't use Secret. It's made for women. It says so right in the commercials:
"Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman."
Is it that complicated?
