Lots of bleaching. Take a trip to a store like Sally's, they will be able to tell you what all you will need to do this at home. I've done it at home...and it turned out great. Lots of conditioner,,,buy a good one. Hot oil treatments are good to have on hand too. Be sure to get a toner,,this will be the final color after you reached the pale yellow stage...it will take out the yellow and any brassiness left. I would also buy a shampoo for blonde hair. This helps to keep the color brighter longer. It can be done at home, but you have to be careful to not over do it, keep a watch on your hair so that it doesn't burn. Bleach will make it burn and brittle if left on too long. You can use a developer that is higher than a 20 volume, it will lift faster, but you must be very very careful...hair will burn faster....and your hair may become porous,,,I would pick up a protein filler at Sally's or where ever you purchase your bleaching tools. This will help with holding the color or toner. And condition your hair, putting proteins back in. It's a LOT of work. If this is your first time, you might consider going to a salon to watch them do it. Then when you do your touchups, you could do them at home and it won't be as hard. Good luck!

properly I truly have been on your right citation before and after attempting it many cases, i ultimately have been given it precise. anybody reported i became "going to smash my hair" yet my hair is in simple terms as sturdy and thick and healthful because it ever became. so that's what i did a million-you need to strip the colour out of your hair, this is the way that it will artwork the superb. I constantly used 2 packing containers, whether my hair became quite short, by way of fact try to be sure you conceal all of it frivolously. possibly get a chum that can assist you with the decrease back. attempt going to a save like sally's attractiveness grant to get the products. 2- i'd get Kalidacolors bleach, and you need to tone your hair after wards. So once you p.c.. out the colour your going to tone your hair to ( even the Platinum blonde) p.c.. up a violet brass lowering packet. the folk at sally's would recognize precisely what you're speaking approximately. the full component will fee you ALOT below you will spend at a salon. 3-confirm you DEEP subject your hair after wards. that is important. sturdy success!!!

you can use born blonde, lighting kit, but sad to tell you will have to use a darker toner because your hair has to come up, you will be brassy - yellow the first time, so chouse a natural more darker blonde, then when your roots come out, you can lighten again, your hair has to come up in stages, if its virgin hair..also if have any color like a dark toner you have put into your hair, you have a mess. save the heart ache, spend the money and go have it done by pros.
they can use the best bleach, thats quicher, on you. after you have got your hair lighten to the shade you like, then you can do the touch up.....your self..............if money is tight go to a beauty school and have them do it there, the superviser makes sure its done right, and cost not a whole lot.....

You really, really should go to a salon. I have really dark hair and I had plat. blonde highlights put in. It took 2 hours to bleach it. It could be really detrimental if you don't know what you are doing, I'm talking about hair breakage!!!! You should leave it to the professionals.

Buy the Super Blonde box at any drug store and leave it on for the longest recommended time. Just make sure your hair is strong and healthy before starting or it can break. Good Luck!

First you strip the color from your hair then you can color it. You can get what you need at a good beauty supply shop.
