Do you mean all of the metaphors, allegories, parallels, and parables? Yes.

So if someone reads the bible and does not come to the exact same conclusion and religious indoctrination you accept to be true, that means they did not read it CORRECTLY?
Ever asked two different people who witnessed the same scenario to describe it as they saw it? You will ALWAYS get slightly different angles. I think you are being a little absolutist and extremist here.

Are you sure you read it correctly that is why you sound boastful? One of the transformations should be humility and you just sounded the opposite with the way you wrote your question.

This guy. He is sure pushing the bible and his religion today. I guess he has not read the bible and does not understand how flawed it is. It is full of errors. It is full of contraditions. It is full of bad morals. I guess he just goes to church and relies on the preacher to tell him what is in the bible and he does not actually read it or think about it.

You are not correct if you think you must tell me things like this. You have no way to know if someone has already done things in this manner. I prefer to worry about improving (transforming) myself. I can not know what you must do to improve but i do know that you only have the power to transform yourself and not other people.

Who is to say what is the "correct" way to read a bible? Strict constructionists claim that it is literally true while a more liberal construction allows for interpretation. I would not presume to tell either that they are wrong.

Difficult for a book of religious poetry and mythology to transform anyone.

So, we should disregard all of the contradictions and impossibilities and subscribe to the mythic hoo-haw that you buy into. That would be correctly?
No, thanks. I've read it both ways, and in several languages and English translations.
It's really a very dopey book.

YOU PEOPLE! You need to get some mental help if you believe in anything the bible says. Nuns hitting children and priests molesting altar boys is LEFT OUT of your sacred bible.

Faith in our world is truly amazing...it can build bridges and destroys man!
Atheists are just slothfull...At least have a belief in something...buddah, wicca, taoism: be accepting and open to find a path where ever it carries you...my beliefs differ from Kermits, but I respect him and he me. I have My ancestor worship issues.
