I was being interviewed while under investigation and during the interview was advised that they allowed a felon to call my phone, not once but twice, i assume to see if I would talk to him (first attempt, my child answered and call was terminated, second call was unsuccessful).
It still has me pretty ticked off that they would allow these phone calls, while they were listening. I looked up entrapment, and it doesn't fall under this. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I am not trying to get money out of them, i just want to know what it's called that they done, i feel it was wrong to allwo this to happen. It should be against policy, my small child answered the phone, so now this felon knows i have a child and knows his voice, it scares me, that is where i draw the line, don't put my family out there like that, i just think it's wrong.

Thanks for the petext call info, but that's not the case.
The felon is in prison and was under my supervision, i too have been in law enforcement for 13 years. This is a formal investigation issue and they allowed this inmate to contact me as part of their crazy tactics.

it's basically a set up on their part and it's not illegal for them to do so unfortunately! when trying to get a confession they'll use any legal means necessary, and some illegal ,like coercing

If you're trying to find a basis to get money out of the "investigators," forget about it. How do you know the "felon" was making the calls? The "investigators" told you? Looks like someone needs brighter "investigators."
