1 Mw = 1000 Kw

In this case, the plant can produce 1000 Mwh if it operates for 1 hour (equals 1,000,000 Kwh)

Kwh is a unit for energy. But Mw per hour is a unit for the rate of change of power, so we cannot compare them.
Hope this was helpful.

The h in kWh stands for hour which means 1kWh / h = 1kW
