Faith is no better than wild, random guesses.

Faith is nothing but a hope of something to come. You can have no knowledge about faith, therefore it is a guess, a bet if you will, about whether there is a god or not. Your faith allows you to believe the non-sense and my knowledge tells me faith is just a big cop-out to get people to fall in line

If you are aware of the powers of creative visualization and the manner in which we create our own realities, you don't need faith to understand "god healing" etc. It's all a result of your own subconscious, not an outside source in the least.

Faith is just believing in something for which there is no proof.

I have faith that I will wake up tomorrow, but it's not a fact, and won't be unless I wake up tomorrow.

"The largest medical study of the efficacy of intercessory prayer in healing has found that it has no effect on patients' recovery from heart-bypass surgery, researchers announced on Thursday. Patients did just as well when church groups did not pray for them as when they did.

What's more, a group of patients who both received prayers and knew that they were being prayed for fared less well than did other study subjects, who knew only that they might be prayed for."
