A lager is not the easiest to brew because you specific temperatures for long periods of time...you bonehead.

An American wheat beer is probably the easiest to make. No specialty grain and no finishing hops.

A pale ale is probably one of the most forgiving brews. There are a lots of varieties to chose from and as long as you don't go too far off chart in the processes, you'll end up with a consumable product, enjoyable most of the time.
