How often do you shower, everyday?

I've met alot of people in my life who don't feel it's necessary to shower on a daily basis. I can't stand it. I have no problem with them as long as they don't stink but I know that I could never be like that myself. So what do you all think about showering?

Showering daily was brought on by the soap industries in the 50's. Americans (USA) bought into this and started showing daily, showing that advertising works. Its now part of the American thought process and daily habits. As all the answers here are showing.

I did a 4-month hike a few years ago, I did a simple wipe down at the end of each day. Was able to get a shower or bath every 10-days or so. Your skin and hair adjust to not showering everyday and don't produce as much oil, not as gross as you would image. And my hair was never better, showing we over wash our hair.

I shower every other day unless I workout or do some physical labor that day.

For the most part I have to shower daily, I can not get up and function without water hitting my face in the morning. I don't always wash my hair everday in the winter cause it gets to dry but in the summer I wash my hair everyday. I will say that I am guilty of the occasional not showering on the weekends but who the heck is gonna see me if I am at home vegging. I don't understand how people can not shower or at least wash up. I have smelled some people that come from other countries and whew...I am standing about six feet away from them when I have to be involved in conversation. To me body oder is very offensive and if you are going to live in america adapt to american culture and pick up a bar of soap please!!

I shower every morning. If something happens during the day that makes me feel like I should take another shower, then I do (like sweating after working out, or if it's too hot, or if you have food that doesn't agree with you). Cos that's nasty and you don't want to be spreading germs.

If I know I'm not going to be doing anything but vegging at home the whole day, and I won't be having any company, then I won't shower. One day is not a big deal if I'm not going to be around anyone and I'm not going to do anything that would make me funkadellic. You know what I'm sayin'?

I shower once every two days in average. When I find a job I would shower everyday. If I play sports or do other physical activities probably shower twice a day. I think showers per day should be different for everyone depending on their life style, it should not be compulsory to do it once a day or more unless its matter of hygiene.

I have a bath daily , no shower I hate showers but it is good to be clean on a daily basis thats for sure

Showering is important especially when trying to be attractive to someone of the opposite sex i shower twice a day once when i wake and once after work outs i cant stand smelly people eather lol

Every day, except in the winter sometimes every other day (too dry).

I know that Americans are thought to bathe too much...but I can't see how someone could go for a week without showering and not feel all greasy and gross. Not to mention stinky in the feet, underarms, and other unmentionables. Geeze!

Well... in my opinion i think that one should shower daily because it's not sanitary...i mean like in an emergecy when u can't well that's another thing... so yeah...shower daily!!!!!! cause if not then ur not going to fell good for yourself and other people might not hang out with u casue u sthink!!!!!

Daily. If I go out and get really dirty i may shower twice, if I'm not too tired.

Daily ... once every few months may have flown back in cowboy days but today with much less free range to roam, closer quarters warrants better hygiene...well, that's the theory anyway :)
