i just hang up. feels rude, but they're used to it, and it's better than yelling!

i used to be one...tell them to put you on the "do not call list" and not to call back, you are at work. it is actually illegal for them to call you after that...they can be fined ALOT! However, some of them will insist on calling again...when they do, ask to speak to a supervisor...you tell them that you told them LAST time to put you on the do not call list, that was the last warning. If they call you again, you are going to report them to the Attorney General's Office, The Federal Trade Commission and to the Better Business Bureau. They may tell you some mess about taking 24 hours to update their system, you tell them to update it NOW and not to call again. I seriously believe they will listen then. Make sure you write all this down, times, dates, etc. If they call again...report them to the places I listed above. They WILL stop then, you can guarantee it.

well the other day I had two Johovah witnesses walk up to the front desk where I work and all I said when they started talking was Hi heres My personal home # please call Me Id love to talk to you in dept about it Im a Christian Ordained Minister, and Boy they didnt even take My # they just turned around and literally Ran.. it was great...
