This phrase probably doesn't make any grammatical sense, but can anyone please tell me what this means? (Please be grammatic. Thanks.)
"Porque tengo yo que hacer las cosas tan duramente?!"

'Why do I have to do things the hard way?'
'Tan duramente' means 'so harshly',literally.
Sometimes a non-literal translation is better,to get the point across as a native speaker would.
(This sentence should read,in proper Spanish grammar--'Por que tengo que hacer las cosas tan duramente?')
