To be honest, I don't really believe in hadiths. For good reasons.

The first hadith in Saheeh Al-Bukhaary, bacause it talks abouty niyyah. When I heard a shaykh commenting this hadith I asked myself before every step I make, it made such an influence on me. This hadith makes you conscious that you make good deeds only for Allah's swt sake, not for people only. Whenever I want to do a good deed, it happens almost like an automatic action, everyone wants to help someone in need. But in addition to this, I try to think on Allah, so that I have a hope, that I eaned hasanaat.

I'm no Muslim but my favourite hadith is:
"The greatest Jihad of them all is to tell the truth in front of a Tyrant"
Bukhari?Muslim?I don't remember.
This will teach some stupid Christians like prays toward the funky town to know more about Jihad before he even qouted it.

Volume 9, Book 91, Number 363:
Narrated Ali:
The Prophet , sent an army and appointed some man their commander The man made a fire and then said (to the soldiers), "Enter it." Some of them intended to enter it while some others said, 'We have run away from it (i.e., embraced Islam to save ourselves from the 'fire')." They mentioned that to the Prophet, and he said about people who had intended to enter the fire. ''If they had entered it, they would have remained In it till the Day of Resurrection.'' Then he said to others, "No obedience for evil deeds, obedience is required only in what is good .

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 549:
Narrated Abdullah:
Allah's Apostle, the true and truly inspired said, "(as regards your creation), every one of you is collected in the womb of his mother for the first forty days, and then he becomes a clot for an other forty days, and then a piece of flesh for an other forty days. Then Allah sends an angel to write four words: He writes his deeds, time of his death, means of his livelihood, and whether he will be wretched or blessed (in religion). Then the soul is breathed into his body. So a man may do deeds characteristic of the people of the (Hell) Fire, so much so that there is only the distance of a cubit between him and it, and then what has been written (by the angel) surpasses, and so he starts doing deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise and enters Paradise. Similarly, a person may do deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise, so much so that there is only the distance of a cubit between him and it, and then what has been written (by the angel) surpasses, and he starts doing deeds of the people of the (Hell) Fire and enters the (Hell) Fire."

The Hour will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews. The Muslims will slay them, until the Jew conceals himself behind rocks and trees. The rock or the tree will say, "O Muslim, O servant of God, there is a Jew behind me, so come and slay him" - except for the thornbush, since it is a tree of the Jews' (Muslim, Fitan 84).
