It depends on the way the minor does this. If it's done in a respectful way there is nothing to say against it.
But when the child is cheeky, compromising or arrogant then it's not acceptable.

It really depends in what context you mean. I don't think it would be ok for a minor to correct an adult if they are doing so just to be smart or to make that adult deliberately look stupid but if you are genuinely wrong and the minor is correcting you in a nice way then why not. After all they may be minors but that doesn't mean they don't know things that adults don't.

I think it is OK. Children need to be able to stand up for themselves....but there is a right way and a wrong way! If you are right, (make sure you are) you are in a position to correct someone, if it's really necessary. Make sure it's worth it though, because people do not like to be made to look stupid, particularly in front of others! Weigh your options. Sometimes the satisfaction of being right means you lose friendship, and more. If you're just out to prove a point to make someone mad - don't bother. That's just immature.

Ofcourse as long as it i respectful and remember kids have opinions too and for all the people who say it is wrong, you have to see it from a kidds point of view cause my parents sometimes make mistakes i sometimes i correct them

My son has corrected me if I'm mistaken about something. In my opinion, it's good for a kid to show that they know stuff. It really depends on the situation. If a kid thinks they know it all, then that isn't a good attitude to have. But, if a kid knows things and never speaks up, they might doubt themselves in everything they do.

As long as it is done respectfully, it is ok. My 11 yr old son has an amazing memory for faces, names, birthdays, dates, etc. He frequently will correct me when I slip up about these things. I don't know what I would do without him correcting me!

It's perfectly okay to voice your opinion and disagree, and if an adult says something wrong, it's okay to "correct" them as long as you are respectful and not smart mouthed.

no its not as long as the minor remembers his or her place and does this with respect and not in a condescending manner. Adults are not always right just because they think they are.

No, it is not wrong. In fact, it is pretty helpful, because frequently they rely on me whenever something that is important is coming up and they want me there just in case they make a mistake.
