It is the power of discrimination vested with human beings that differentiates it from animals. Only after having lived 7.3 million lives... we reach the stage of human beings.

Only as a human being shall one gain enlightenment and salvation. In the human form alone there are 1.1 million types of manifestations. As many human beings... as many paths to god!

True... we are all children of God yet, every human being has to realize the true inner self (our atman the soul within). It is this journey of 1.1 million manifestations... passing through which every human being slowly matures and becomes wise. Expecting one to become wise... gain enlightenment and salvation in one sitting... in one manifestation is just not possible!

The dross contained within every human being varies... more the impurities contained within the soul of a human being... the longer the journey to the abode of God!

It is like this. Initially we have one K. G. of pure gold in a lump of hundred K. G. of gold ore. As the impurities decrease... we have one K. G. of pure gold in the balance 85 K. G. of gold ore. As life passes by we have one K. G. of pure gold in 30 K. G. of gold ore and finally 99 K. G. of impurities removed... we have one K. G. of pure gold. Our soul atman has finally liberated and come back to its pristine pure form.

All human beings are advised to live... Like the leaves in a tree. One can make noises... religions can shout at each other... yet unity in diversity is to be practiced at all stages. When comes the time... our soul atman within leaves to manifest another body! The cycle of manifestations by our soul atman would go on and on.

The day would come when we reach the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in the series of cosmic life cycle! One has finally reached the stage of enlightenment and salvation (aka moksha in Hinduism). More on unity in diversity - http://www.vijaykumar.org/unity_in_diversity.html

Sadly I do not know. Many people would say it's because their heritage is best, and I have simply KNOW idea how they could back that up with evidence. I'm white, but I think all men AND women are equal. It isn't an Asain's, or an Indian's or an African-American's or any other culture's world, it is a human's world. "We were all created on the left side of Heaven," as my Grandfather used to say.

discrimination against living beings in any form is the carnal man seeking to gain power. it is the same form of idolatry that is the hook today when people wish to be better than or perceive themselves as being superior in some way over their fellow beings.

because we are all here to learn, it is a lesson that must be taught. some people are not taught that discrimination is wrong. and some people willfully choose to discriminate because it offers the seductive reasoning of class distinction.

the word discrimination in and of itself does not mean something bad. when you go to your closet to select and outfit for the day, you are discriminating between the options in front of you. the difference is that when malice is added to the choice, it is a hurtful process.

selfishness, fear and unrighteous anger lead people to "choose sides" that eliminate many fine people from their lives.

the remedy for this stain and blight is to apply a God like love to everyone we meet. None of them are dross before the Creator and none are worthless.

Regardless of our blessings or circumstances, we can and should be open and loving to everyone. Even when they are acting in a way that is unpleasant.

This does NOT mean that everyone is our bosom buddy. Some people are just never going to be our friends. But, we can treat everyone with common decency.

Yes, we all discriminate in one way or another. It is our nature and God knows it. That's why He gave His son to die for our sins, because we could never come close to being perfect, and no one would make it to heaven. The degrees of discrimination vary of course. I try to love my fellow man, but that doesn't always apply to me. Sometimes I'm envious or hurt and I want to defend myself. Being close to God allows me to see this sin and repent of it. The Holy Spirit also helps me to think before I speak and to have a clean mind. If I were away from God, then I think it would be worse. I would judge others and be prideful.

This is our nature. Whether we know God or not, whether we know the rules or not, whether we CAN and WANT to respect them or not, we don't. At least not always. Every case is different and everything varies from person to person, so in order to judge each person and determine their own cause you have to judge them as individuals,s not as a general idea.

But if you want a general diagnosis. I would say the general cause for this whole madness and this hate is pride.

It is a very sad thing. The truth is, that we were born into sin! It is human nature to be this way.

We can only be saved by accepting that God sent His Son Jesus to save us from our sins by dying for them, so that we could be forgiven of our sins and spend eternity with God!!

God Bless!

Because of that God given gift, free will.
No two people are going to think alike, all we can do is say what we believe in, and then it is up to the other person to listen or turn away...

I do not discriminate. I have preferences for sure like a cheesesburger over a tofu salad, but it's just choice.

I truly believe that the day there is only 1 or no religion at all we will be a long step closer to world peace.
However, the fact that all u religious nuts are all so F***in sure that your religion is the ONLY one, and of course religion could never be guilty of bigotry or inciting riot or war.
Yeah I must b dreamin

The ability to discriminate is a positively good thing. If you could not discriminate you would eat chicken poop as soon as chicken salad. If you lacked the ability to discriminate you would soon meet your demise.
