At the basis of most religions is the idea that "I am right and you are wrong". So if everyone is religious then they will not accept people of other religions. It is the nature of humanity to form small groups and to be hostile to other groups.

The trick to a peaceful world is for people to learn how to manage conflict, not to love and accept each other.

It's good theory. However it cannot work because religions (and non-religions) have different values and at some point your values will conflict with another's.

Christ Jesus commands his followers to love your neighbor as yourself and to love God with all your heart and soul.

AS opposed to Muslim religion whose leader Mohammed instructs his followers to kill the infidels. the Christians more or less.

So you can be nice to others and you should but everbody cannot be right or else everybody is wrong.

I think that it is a very nice dream and that you should keep trying to obtain it. However here on Earth I don't think that will be happening any time soon. This is not television, nor is it an episode of "Star Trek". It would be nice to live on that world, but unfortunately this is not that world........yet.

We are more divided and diverse and diffuse as a world and a set of irreconcilable cultures than ever before. It would be nice, but no one compromises. All muslims become Christian? All Christians become muslims? See the problem?
