IMPORTANT!!!
In the name of Allaah Most Benefit Most Merciful
All praise be to Allaah the Lord of all worlds
May Allaah's peace and blessing be upon His prophet, his family and companions
(1) In Islam it's not only said, believe in Allah, but it's also said KNOW that there's no god but Allah. [Qur'an, Soorah Muhammad, 19] Allah didn't leave the humanity to wander in dark. No! He swt gave the humanity the Light, so that they know the truth. If the faith is based is primarily based on blind belief, then why would Allah/God swt punish anyone? Why? Someone could say:'O Allah/God, how could I know that You really existed and that You were One? How can You punish me, for You didn't give the reason to believe in You?'. But, Allah swt did send a clear meassage, a guidance to the mankind: ''but if, As is sure, there comes to you guidance from me, whosoever Follows my guidance, will not Lose his way, nor fall Into misery.'' [Qur'an, Taa Haa, 123]

(2) If you say, Trinity isn't easy to understand, and it is in Bible said, that whoever believes in Jesus as Son of God, then the conclusion is: only those few who understand the Trinity, those who are very intelligent and educated will make it in Paradise! Because they could 'understand' the Trinity!!! And what's with others? God revealed something that is impossible or very hard to understand, and then punished for something you couldn't do!!! Allah swt said:''On no soul doth God place a burden greater than it can bear.''[Qur'an, Al-Baqarah, 286] Again, a faith without the understanding is only memory in the brain. The main point of the Christinaity, the reason for sending Jesus as saviour, the reason for his crucifxion, is the belief in Trinity. And if people can't understand the main point, the centre, if they're not able to do that, then Christians could say that God isn't righteous to all, isn't merciful to all...

(3) The question is too obvious, that I thought it doesn't need any further explanation, an that's why I only quoted the Bible, and didn't write anything more. But as I see some answers (obviously written in despair) I see that some 110% clear things must be 200% clear...If you say Jesus prayed in his humanity to Father, he still prayed to another person. If Jesus really was Son Fod, or God the Son, or a part of Trinity why did he pray to Father, because, as you say, they're one? Why didn't he just say: ' I want it to be like that, and it should be.' ? Does God pray to God?

(4)''Say: The Truth has arrived, and Falsehood neither creates anything new, nor restores anything.''[Qur'an, As-Saba', 49]
''And say: truth has (now) arrived, and falsehood perished: for falsehood is (by its nature) bound to perish.''[Qur'an, Al-Israa', 81]
And Allah knows best.
And all praise be to Allaah the Lord of all worlds
And may Allaah’s blessing be upon His prophet Muhammad, his family and companions

Ok, there is something you are missing here.
Jesus was part of a tri-une god. A tri-une god is a god that is 1 god but 3 persons. The three persons of God are Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit. Each of these dieties serves a different purpous. God is the father who watchs over us and created the world, Jesus is the savior who saved us from our own sin, and the Holy Spirit is what keeps christianity alive today. You might wonder why it is a tri-une god and not 3 different gods. The ten commandments(I could tell you which, but there are several different versions of it, there is the Jewish, the Catholic, and the Protestant version) says that you shall have no other gods before me, yet we christians have 3 beings that are of worship. So a tri-une god explains it. Three beings, 1 god. I hope you understand this.

His heavenly father. There's this thing called the trinity, and it's showing the different parts of God. It's one of the hardest things to understand, definitely.
God created humans, so we're his children. God also created Jesus' body, he just put himself (his soul) in it. So Jesus was his son, since he was a human, but also he was God, because he had God's personality and soul.
It's like how a man can be a son to his father, a father to his son, and a brother to his brother. He's still one man, but he's fulfilling many roles. Jesus was a son to God because God created him, hence the prayer.

Very good question. Jesus was not God. We can be absolutely certain that anything describable is not God. Jesus was made into a God by the Roman Powers That Be to prevent that people would find the truth about Jesus as an example that can be followed. By making him into a god who "died on the cross to wash away our sins" people would no longer assume responsibility to find their own truth and could be easier manipulated into paying for all the junk that the church sold and fighting the so-called enemies of Christianity.
As a result, what is called Christianity today has hardly a connection with the original teachings of Jesus.
(3) There is no mentioning in the Bible that Jesus is God. God is One. Hence individuals, like Jesus, who found God found the Unity that IS. Jesus declared to be One with the Father, the Divinity that can be found within each one of us, and in fact in anything, since EVERYTHING and EVERYONE is God's creation. God is everywhere. The gospels were written between the second and fourth century and the Christian Bible was established around the year 400. The church was forced to merge with paganism (by the Roman Emperor) which caused the worshiping of Mary and hundreds of "saints," which were made up for the bigger part, and of statues, icons, and other "things." These are verifiable historical facts. The whole thing was utterly corrupt and had nothing at all to do with Jesus' (or Yeshua's, which comes closer to his original name) teachings. Actually, Jesus was how the Romans pronounced his name, and the beginning of straying away from the truth about him. It was in fact given to him by the enemies of the original Christianity, resulting in a religion that deviated farther from the original truth than any other religion.
Yeshua himself was firmly against being made a god. There was once a rich man asking him something like: "My good man, what should I do to get to Heaven?" Yeshua did answer his question, but the first thing he said was: "Why do you call me good? Only God is good." Jesus was a man.
It is no wonder that the church has strayed and split up in so many directions. No wonder that someone like Mohamed emerged, with a prophecy to re-establish a more pure religion, based on love. No wonder that he above all forbid not only to picture Allah, but ANYTHING that could result in worshiping of anything else but the One God, or Allah. (the God) And no wonder that protestantism came up.
Yeshua prayed to the One God, and he also knew God as his leading principle within, the inner Adult, if you wish, rather than the inner child, or ego-consciousness, that rules almost everyone else. He knew them to be One, and it was for this reason that he called God Father.
This should answer your question, but I suppose you rather hear answers from the ones who call themselves Christian, LOL! ;-)

Jesus was praying to His Father. Jesus has two natures; God and man. Because of our sinful nature, he took on our nature in order to free us from our transgressions and obtain eternal life for us.
What is praying? Praying is communicating with God. Jesus was talking to His Father.
People love to play with Semantics (words). Anyone can read the Bible but we need the Holy Spirit to help us understand it.
I agree with the one poster that stated that we are not to understand everything in this life. That is where faith comes in. Jesus is God - plain and simple. Yes, He claimed to be God. Yes, He suffered and died on the cross for us. And yes, He rose from the dead. Those are historic facts. Not only was He seen after He rose but no one could ever claimed to have His body.
Of course now we hear of ridiculous claims of people saying here is His tomb or there it is but no one can ever prove it. Interesting enough, these alleged claims usually surface during the Easter or Christmas season.
It is funny that you never hear of people trying to disprove other belief systems the way they try to discredit Christianity. Little do these people realize that they are fulfilling the prophecies made by Jesus. There will be and are false Messiahs claiming to be God. There will be those trying to spread their errors. Many of these people angry and bitter that they can't have a faith that compliments their sinful and heathenistic lives.
Are Christians any better? Of course not! We are all sinners, saved by Grace.
In closing, an explanation I read once of the Trinity was that it is comparable to an egg. An egg has three parts: the shell, the egg white and the yolk. They are three seperate and distinct parts but they are three parts of one egg.
God bless you all.

Jesus never said that he was God, on the contrary , he always said :"My father " speaking of God.Christians say that Jesus is the eldest and the only son of God. In the Druze philosophy we believe that God, before creating the world created the rule\or the reason\or the law\(the principle to be observed by the created world). This principle, the druzes believe, is Jesus. He is the eldest son of God and was the first creation since he was created before the universe. this is why Jesus calls God "my Father".Jesus is the ruler of the universe by authority from God, but he is not God He is the next power.

The trinity was invented by the church as it moved into the British Isles. Celtic religions had several triune gods/goddesses (for example, Brighid, Lugh). So when the church moved to Great Britain, this triune aspect was absorbed into the mythology of christianity.
Christianity has always practiced syncretism. Most christian holidays were stolen from pagan traditions, e.g.

Jesus never said he was God. yes he said you seen me you seen the Father, he was with Jehovah God for billions of years so he knows his Father real well. Jesus also said that he cannot do anything without the Father in the heavens. also when Jesus was on the stake, he said Father they do not know what they are doing. Jesus is now seating on the right hand of Jehovah God. www.watchtower.org. believe what you want. even the 12 knew that he was Jehovah's son not God. not even Moses seen Jehovah but his back. but they seen Jesus Christ. Jehovah the Father, Jesus Christ the son then the Holy Spirit or Jehovah's active Force

He is praying to the Father. Who is also our Father. The Father of all creation. The Trinity is: Jesus the son, God the Father, and the Holy Spirt which dwells within us.
Salvation of man is through the Son; the only way man can get to God, is through the Son - Jesus.
HOpe that helps.

I don't know how people can think Jesus is God. This one girl gave the best explanation of that. She said they are one in having the same goals. I wished I could remember all of it but it was a good answer.

None of the previous christians even believed that.
I have a faint idea people added verses to the Bible to make it look like he was.
Edit: There you go, the previous answerer just made Christianity look like a pagan religion.
God the son, God the father, what about God the mother?
or the God the aunt?
