Whenever a soul manifests a body... it occupies the most integral part of the body... our heart!
We all know that in absence of our heart... the body would decay and die. As long as our heart beats... the soul manifests the body. The moment soul leaves the body... the heart stops beating.
Soul and body are one. It is the soul that has manifested the body and never otherwise. The soul has manifested the body to work out its karma... to free itself... liberate from the cycle of birth and death and regain its pristine pure form. As the heart is merely the organ that pumps blood around the body why would a soul need one? (always assuming the existence of a soul)

no...just the one within the body (souls have no need for organs the support organic life)....it is the brain which makes the heart flutter with emotion...so the question should be: do we have two minds...one in the body and one in the soul? (Or in deed is soul the result of the brain? in case there is need of only one)

Physical heart organ is only one.
However there is another subtle part in that region which is knotted in most beings. When it loosens, compassionate love starts flowing for everyone without any reason.
For the purpose of communication one may call it heart of soul, though it is not.

Man is a spirit(made in God's image), that has a soul (the heart, emotions etc) who lives in a body.

We have but one heart, a usually efficient blood pump, in the body.
The soul has no heart of that type, BUT it contains within it ALL the connotations we usually use the heart to symbolize, like bravery, love, commitment, understanding.

I believe we have our mind & body as one soul, that is our basic instinicts,(animal soul) that wars with our heavenly soul (divine spark of life) that lives within us. Not two hearts, two souls that fight to be one soul, one with the Divine God & His Son Jesus.

The soul does not rely on anything else to help it function except the divine light. So to answer your question, we only have one heart. in my opinion anyway

We do NOT have a separate 'soul'.
When god created man, He created man AS a soul'
Men, living, breathing, ARE souls.
animals, also are living souls.
(Genesis 1:20) And God went on to say: “Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls and let flying creatures fly over the earth upon the face of the expanse of the heavens.”
For souls to be a SEPARATE SPIRITUAL PART that departs at death, the foregoing scripture would be saying that animals also have 'one.
but they do not. they ARE souls.
The word 'soul' is translated from the Hebrew word NEPHESH, which means ' that which breathes'.
