How long will this last and what should I be eating??? They put me on antibiotics for a week. I am guessing it was a bad case, b/c my white cells where 17,000 when they should've been only 6,000!

what i am asking is do I need to eat bland foods for X amount of days?? This has been a week ago and figured I could just go back eating like I was. But when I did I had horrid heartburn and woke up sick at my stomach!

I hope you're feeling better now.
When I food poisoning, it took me about a week and a half to feel mostly alright again and as soon as I ate anything kind of rich, I was terribly ill again. That lasted about another week.
It sucks. I think some things are just harder to digest and throw your system back into revolt.
Hang in there. It'll be better soon.

Yuck!
The good news is that you should be past the worst of it, unless it was something especially vicious. If you don't see an improvement by tomorrow, see your doctor again.
I've had to nurse my husband through some rather nasty food poisoning. And that's about how long it lasted for him.
