... Assuming that your religion is right and you go to heaven and hell when you die, etc. and you get to the afterlife and your final test is to slap either Satan or Jesus in the face.

Think about it - maybe they're testing to see if you really believe that Jesus would forgive you anything...

Would slapping Satan just land you in more trouble if you hadn't made the grade anyway? Would he beat the crap out of you?

Which one would you go for?

Feel free to plagarise a large section of the bible in response - I know it's all you can manage, but it will be funny to see what you come up with and try to bend it to this inane situation...

I wonder which of the two Halfpint imagines I am... or perhaps she misunderstood the question?

I'm sure you all know God a lot better than me, but don't come crying to me when you get there and have to make this trick choice.

You Christians really don't have a sense of humour, do you?

Where do I sign up for this 'slapping' then?

The only person I would slap in the face was someone who needed it for medical reasons. I certainly wouldn't slap Jesus and in regards to Satan the Bible says this.

Jude 1:9 But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you."

For a individual to come returned in and in simple terms slap you interior the face for no longer asserting hi to them, that's someone-friendly attack. I relatively think of your sister in regulation must be the only apologizing to you. i could bypass forward and phone her and say which you're sorry for hitting her on the back yet you felt attacked via her and you experience that she acted inappropriately. i'm afraid in case you basically ask for forgiveness with out making helpful she is conscious that what she did replaced into very incorrect that this could validate her habit. She has to comprehend that this replaced into no longer ok and if she does this interior the destiny you shouldn't be round her. If she would be in a position to no longer take possession of her habit i could stay removed from her.

Silly questions from silly people, First of all when I go to heaven, I will not see Satan, & if I go to hell, I will not see Jesus. And this silly ideal of people thinking that St. Peter is at the pearly gates is all man made traditions, It is God that let's a person into heaven. And I plan on going to heaven. Oh yes by the way, Greater is he(the Holy Ghost) that is in me then he (satan) that is in the world. Does that answer your question, I know it did not answer it the way you wanted it to.

Since hell is the state of separation from God, how can one go to heaven AND hell when one dies? I won't be there in a corporeal form anyway so I won't have hands to slap anyone with. If I did, I am sure I would not be thinking of anything so stunningly mundane when meeting my Saviour in glory.

Where do you get your ideas from?

I personally would not mess with God's annointed. It is wise to not slap either unless instructed by God to do otherwise.

I won't even go into there's no afterlife, your question isn't logical, or it sounds like you've had too much beer already.

It's not necessary to slap anyone, so the speculation is a waste of time.

God is the one who came up with the whole idea of human beings living forever, he sent out an invitation, I accepted, and that's it. I don't think I have to slap anyone to get there, so I'll pass.

I have never slapped anyone, so I really doubt I would turn around and slap SATAN.

A VERY hypothetical question, because you don't get to heaven by passing any "test."
But, assuming your hypothetical becomes reality, I wouldn't have any trepidation about slapping the devil, because he's a defeated foe and has no power to retaliate against me.

it would be impossible to slap Satan in the face because if he were standing before Jesus he would be on his knees with his face in the dirt begging god to have mercy just as you and i will.
