John 10-28-30 (Two gods)
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one. (Jesus + god= 2 gods)

John 17:21-22-23 (Fourteen gods)
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. (God + Jesus + 12 disciples=14 gods)
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

You forgot the Holy Spirit (distinct person within the Trinity - according to Christianity) so that's 15 or 3. Some 1st Century Christians believed just that. Some believed in 2, some 3, some as many as 20 (including certain prophets chosen by God). The deifying of man is an ancient practice, which has caused many today in mainstream religions to accuse us Pagans of worshipping ancestors..... yet, they do it too.

To become one with the Father does not make you a god.

Jesus is saying that He has taught them the things of the kingdom of heaven, and has nurtured them to the extent that God resides in them and they in Him. It is a spiritual connection and does not make them a god, or even fully godlike.

Peter was chosen by the Father to be the rock that His church would be built upon, but Peter made mistakes everyday. He kept his foot in his mouth more than any other disciple.

Jesus expressed a special love for John, and the Father protected him just as he protected some of the most devout of the old testament, like Joseph and Daniel.

There is one God, because the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one. Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit said they can do nothing except what they see the Father do, or hear the Father say.

One true Creator God, the Father YHWH/Jehovah.

The Father and Jesus and all true disciples are one, in supporting righteousness.

Jesus is a mighty God, meaning powerful ruler; Isaiah 9:6.

2Cor.4:4 says Satan is the god of this world. He also is a powerful ruler, however bad.

At least 4.
With a host of lesser Gods, and spiritual slaves to the Gods.

The 4 would be YHVH (Father), the Holy Ghost (Holy Mother... not Mary), Yeshu (Jesus, the son), and Lucifer.
The Archangels would be lesser Gods.
and the hosts of angels (still in Heaven and fallen) would be the spiritual slaves to the Gods.

Interesting way to look at it. And you're right in that, if one believes when reading that Jesus said he and his father are one, then it would stand to reason that his apostles are the same person as Jesus.

HOWEVER, in Gen. 2:24 it states: "That is why a man will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his wife and they must become one." Does this mean they are actually the same person? Of course not. They are united in purpose. Just as Jesus and his Father are one - and when you read that passage in context it's clear he is talking about unity in purpose.

Christianity has only 1 god.

Not that I am an expert or anything but I never heard anyone say the disciples were gods.

I and my father are one. There is therefore one God.

That they may be one, even as we are one. Again, one God.
