Does it bother you to tell a lie, be deceptive, hurt another person, or cheat your fellow man? Is there a time you would not fabricate a story or twist it if you thought it might make another find "your" God quicker? Why are you judgemental of others and not your own behaviors in the same way? If you can oppress or deny another's human needs and rights wouldn't you do that if you had a right to or not? Do you think you are justified in keeping those who don't seem to be good Christians down so you can keep them begging to the church? Is it right to use your status in a Christian community to put your select few sheep up on top of government waiting lists and deny some people the priveledge of moving up the row because they are not living a Christian life as you see it? Does God tell you to put unqualified people in Gov. jobs and offices, or to buy the public vote. Why corrupt the public trust to sell your services? What does your book say about the poor and people in jails?

"Everything you've mentioned is all based on what you've been told...but what justifies you to ask such STUPID questions?" Perhaps you are wrong? Perhaps you are the one that is stupid? Perhaps you are the one that is another undercover christian "lying" even to yourself to make it look like I am in the wrong for asking this instead of it being the Christians that are in the wrong for living like this?

Perhaps you are just a Republican so you think you have to stick up for them?

Is it wrong to call it as it is? Perhaps there was a reason for me to point this out this morning? I am not lying, I do not lie, if you can show me where any of what I said was wrong or a lie I would be more then happy to take this question down from here. I did not say that every individual does this, just overall it is what I have seen from people that call themselves "Christians". If I had the room I could give you point blank honest examples.

"you have to judge a person by his fruits."

fruits of lies, fruits of deception, fruits of greed?

No, that is not how to get it, fruits of truth, justice, righteousness, giving, sharing, caring, honesty! If that is not there then you are no more then the Devil incarnate! You need to say you are sorry! Because I trusted you and then you lied about something so important to get attention and did not care whose heart you break, whose life you ruin, or what pain you cause for people. Or you need to take your lying question down. I took my answer off of it.

2007-03-29 03:22:25 · update #4

My answer was removed from your question, but here is what I said and I want people to know: This is what your profile says for those that have not read it yet, I was dumb and trusted and did not read it first: "About me: I like reading the bible, writing poetry playing the piano, cooking, playing on the computer. watching TV like law and order. I like working cooking in a restaurant it been something I love doing." I do not like the fruits of deception that you get, I do not like the fruits of lies you get, I do not like the fruits of greed you get. Is this really what you want or just to get an answer, you are not a Christian, God doesn't tell you to do these thing! First you have blood coming from your lungs then you are an abuse survivor with epilepsy and brain damage, you tell lies and then you think people should believe you? This is what I am fighting against and I don't run around telling people I am a Christian because I don't want to be a hypocrite! I'm choosing you:

Super Kitten,
Yes, I´m Christian.
I´m not American, and the same thing happens here in my country, I am ashamed to say.
This makes me not only sad but very angry.
This is something that I can´t understand because it goes against the very core of the teachings of Christ that is our Lord and Saviour.
I don´t feel that people that feel and act like this are my brothers and sisters.
When I think about this, and it hurts as I´m sure it hurts Jesus, I reason that they call themselves Christians, but they are not. They even think they are, because their parents, grandparents were, because they think that it is like belonging to a golf club, because they don´t know any better.
The Bible says they are wolves pretending to be sheep. And they will receive their punishment for this.
Since I´m here, let me tell you something too. When people all over the world criticise your country because of the wars, they point at the Christian President and call him "lord of the war" and blame the Christians for all this suffering. It hurts too.
But, be sure my dear of this, there are the real sheep, that follow their Shepherd, humble sheep, not greedy, not judgemental, not hypocrites; there are those that have the love of God in their hearts, that take care of the orphans and widows, give assistance to people in jails, in hospitals, in the "favelas", giving love, giving their life in benefits of others, not make a "propaganda" out of it, but for love.
Oh Super Kitten, oh my dear... It breaks my heart.
P. S. I´m sorry the text is so long that the word correction did not work out!

Some are called hypocrites because they are. But supposedly no one except God is to judge and he reads and judges the heart. The Bible says that the meek shall inherit the Earth. Personally, I'm harder on myself than anyone else could ever be.

Everything you've mentioned is all based on what you've been told...I'm not Christian nor am I religious, but what justifies you to ask such STUPID questions?
And what makes you so damn perfect...?
Sure they have faults, just as much as we all do, but I'm looking at your question re: "judgmental", and I'd say you're doing the same thing of everything you've mentioned...
Try looking at yourself in the mirror
And I've seen more politicians and presidents "...corrupt the public trust..." than your average believer...
YOU HAVE OVER 3,000 PTS HERE AS A MEMBER, AND I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT BY NOW YOU'D HAVE LEARNED SOME FORM OF RESPECT FOR OTHERS...
I never called you stupid, I used it to describe your question in general.
I won't say you're lying...it's not for me to decide...I'm just curious why just the Christians, Super Kitten?

There are people on both sides who make their side look bad.

There are some gnostics who display more brotherly love and more compassion than some Christians. And there are some Christians who show more logic, intellect, and common sense than the atheists and gnostics.

It's ironic how those who point fingers are often guilty of doing the same thing.

Your enemy is not Christians,

Jesus loves you and forgives all who ask for his glory and lives a repentant life. those that judge , will be judged. even Christians.
We all fall short now and then, Self riotous Christians have a lot to learn and will answer to the big guy for it.

as Christians were supposed to accept those who fall short and help them up, not demean them.

Jesus broke bread with the needy not the self righteous.

Believe it or not we do not run the government.
God gave us all free will.

=) Well, Christians get called hypocrites because well... people believe that those who believe in a certain religion and that religion only are so narrow-minded that they can't open their minds up to other possibilities. And wow, you must be really curious about religion =). I'm not sure I helped. I hope I did. =). Cheers! =)

I personally don't care what other people think of me.

I monitor those who challenge me to see if there is anything worth improving, but otherwise my morality is between me and God, and I value his judgment above that of others.

I value the HONEST evaluation of others, but the character assassins are of no value to anyone.

It sounds like you have already prejudged all Christians

While there are hypocritical Christians, for the most part, people like yourself just don't like to hear or don't want to follow rules and/or moralities that were laid out by God.

You are being very judgemental by all that you claim in your statement

Christians seem quite happy to take an urban legend, twist it into something "proving" god, then pass it off as fact.
