How to communicate with my 17 year old brother who only speaks when spoken to?

He is at the computer most of the day and his private life is a mystery to me. I do not know his friends, but he knows mine.

just ask him to take to you that he know your friends and you
wont to know about his friends to OK

WHY DON'T YOU SHUT THE COMPUTER OFF BEFORE HE GETS HOME AND TALK TO HIM.
