Why does it bother you? Don't you know that there will be more churches than mosques total, and that beautiful and interesting architecture of any type benefits the entire city? (I'm Pagan, and I appreciate a beautiful church.) If they don't do this, it will be a bunch of bland little mosques scattered all over--as many Muslims worshipping, but with less benefit for the rest of the city. London *does* know where it came from; it is a place of religious freedom, where new cultures keep getting folded in. London was after all once "Londinium," a base for Roman soldiers in ancient times. What you are looking at is an unintended consequence of the British Empire--all those people your ancestors wanted to "share" their values with, are now coming to your country!

It is absolutely INSANE. I don't think there is any other way to describe this. Do they not know that the ultimate goal of the Islamic extremists out there is to eventually make Britain a Muslim country? Its seems to me like they're succeeding more and more every day and we're quite happy to let them. There is something to be said for cultural diversity. It can enhance and educate us as a country and I think the original ideas surrounding this were acceptable. But this isn't cultural diversity, this is an invasion.

God is coming soon to claim this country, keep your eyes open. Personally I'm more concerned about the casinos, why would a government that has allowed so many people to get into huge amounts of debt be now encouraging gambling, can't see this will help.

If you get your news from CBN you have far bigger worries than the local mosque.
You follow an old man who claims that he is far stonger than the record holder at FSU, who dropped a defamation law suit to run for president becuase he beleived he was honor bound to persue the presidency rather than to defend his honour, and who is a champion of assassinaiton.
If that is where you are from, god help you.

Oh yes, we're forgetting. If the 'we' means 'Christians'.
Tolerance, understanding, acceptance of minorities, the lame, the hungry, the imprisoned.
Maybe even 'turning the other cheek?'
If you don't like the UK, then go somewhere else. Possibly the Southern States of the USA - still open to bigots.

The church is marching on; the gates of hell cannot prevail.
I am talking about the 'body of Christ'--that universal connection of belivers, loving and serving the Lord; not the human church of houses and cathedrals

the church isn't a building that is built and you can join. the church is the mystical body of christ that you are born into. you can't join it. who cares how big a building is built. you need to die out to your carnal mind
