The essence of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita is that it is the secret of all the secrets and can not be comprehended by the intellect. Like Me, My teachings also are beyond the grasp of the mind and only a true saint has the ability to lecture on it, since I have vested all My powers in him.
You may read Gita by yourself, but you can comprehend it only by the grace of a saint.

The Bhagwat Gita is basicall an Advice given by the Hindu
lord Krishna to Arjun. The Bhagwat Gita says in chapter 7 verse 20, '' Those whose intelligence has been stolen by
material desires, surrender unto Demi gods and follow the
particular rules and regulations of worship according to their
own natures. This shows that the Bhagwat Gita is against the
Hindu worshipping other gods like idols and created beings.

You can not take essence from every thing. For example if you want to take essence from a flower then naturally you will loose the flower along with it's beauty only the flavour remains.Similarly if you try to take the essence from Gita, then you will loose most of the important things. The best way is to read it carefully for several times and feel it's inner beauty. It is neither a story nor an essay but it is life.

"To action alone hast thou a right and never at all to its fruits; let not the fruits of action be thy motive; neither let there be in thee any attachment to inaction"[28]
"Fixed in yoga, do thy work, O Winner of wealth (Arjuna), abandoning attachment, with an even mind in success and failure, for evenness of mind is called yoga"[29]
"With the body, with the mind, with the intellect, even merely with the senses, the Yogis perform action toward self-purification, having abandoned attachment. He who is disciplined in Yoga, having abandoned the fruit of action, attains steady peace..."
