Wow this is rather strange. It seems like this is a case where someone might have spread a false rumor or something about you. All you can do is confront him in person and just be honest with him. Tell him that if you have offended him in some way you are sorry but you are actually unsure what you did to make him feel this way about you. If you actually did do something and say sorry then the ball is in his court. If he is a decent guy he will forgive you. But as I say by the sounds of things he thinks you did something which you probably didn't. Hope this helps.

I had a few people do that to me in high school. I tried to smile at them when ever we passed eachother down the hall. Today, there are ppl who still do those things to me. I am 31 now. I have learned to just simply smile and let it happen. Embrace the fact that they may have personality disorders, or simply be people who enjoy hating other ppl. Sometimes those ppl tend to be followers not leaders. ie. if one person hates you bcs you have prettier hair or a better education, they may make up a story to get everyone to hate you. OR they may constantly idol you, using reverse phsycology- for the others to be jealous of you and hate you as well. It was hard for me to accept that Evil ppl really exist. Be cautious and be prepared. As the saying goes, "With friends like that you do not need enemies."

Sounds like he just doesn't care to be your friend. I know people like that. I just continue to say hi to them, and treat them good. Hey, kill them with love. Sometimes that's all you can do. If they don't want to be your friend, their loss.
