I like this guy.. and i think he does like me too.. but, when my friends ask him to ask me out, he says tht he's not ready for a relationship yet... and he ask his friends not to tell me.. tht he's not ready yet.. what does this mean? Why cant he just go straight to the point and say it to my face? and behind those words, is he trying to say, "get da hint! i dont like you!" ?

it means you have untrustworthy friends, since they told you what he said not to tell you.

Sounds to me like he isn't ready. Only he has the answer to why he isn't. Maybe his age, parents, money or other responsibilities and commitments to family. The fact that he doesn't want anyone messing in this shows he probably is interested and will be knocking on your door when the time is right. Don't push it or let his friends try to. You don't have to go out to talk about the weather or something of mutual interest. You just might discover all the answers.

Why don't you ask him instead of hiding behind your friends. The worst that can happen is that he says "no". This is 2007 time to take control of your own destiny.

maybe he isnt long out of a relationship himself and just isnt ready to go out with you yet....dont read too much into it, if you really like him give him time, be friends and maybe the rest will follow...have patience
