even if you can't afford a lawyer, try looking for one that will do pro-bono work (free of charge). Contact local attorney's and tell them your situation and maybe one will have a heart and help you.. If not, ask their advice, they should give it free too. Legal aide should help if not.
I know this is none of my business, but how well do you know this girl/mother? Do you know if she has drinking/mental/drug problems, cause that could very well be her problem......The reason I ask is cuz as a child I grew up w/ a mother that was quite abusive, and later found out she is bi-polar and her drug abuse made it worse. There is no excuse to abuse a child, but if she has mental disorders/drug adiction it's not entirely her fault. I think you should all have her checked/looked at for drug/alcohol abuse or mental problems.

You have nothing to worry about here. Even though the charges were dropped for whatever reason, there is still a record of the investigation. This and her prior child will stop her from getting custody. Shes going to need an attorney to present her case, you wont. Her record will speak for her so you dont have to prove a thing except to be there to answer any questions the Judge may have for you. You are not on trial here so calm down, the law is on your side. Just dont agree or sign anything from her concerning this outside the court as the court wont be able to overturn it once its done. Contact your local legal aid assoc. if you still feel you need an attorney. Good luck

They won't most probably cost him with perjury. That isn't most important. But you're going to ought to carry documentation of his different assets of earnings so that you are going to now not get your baby help decreased. How dependable that he cannot find the money for the child he already has (and is looking to pay much less baby help) but he went and obtained a brand new spouse and had an additional child! Ugh. Anyway, more often than not talking if he can pay the whole quantity of baby help, he has the proper to look his baby ordinarily. So I could take care to not seem as regardless that you're seeking to avert him from seeing his baby, except there's worry on your baby's protection or wellness with him, and it does not sound like that is the case right here.

I'm afraid I'd sale the farm to keep my child away from this monster! - Or I'd have garage sales, cake bakes, car washes, you name it. I'd sell candy as a fund raiser. I'd do whatever it took to protect my children.
I wish you, and your brother and those innocent children, all the best.
