Hm if you want to lose weight, you should grab a yogurt cup, a quick fruit like an apple or banana, or a cereal/power/ granola bar. Those are my three favorite on the go breakfasts. But honestly you can take an extra 10 minutes to have some Specia K cereal... ;] Also remember the dieting comes along with the excercising!! Good luck (:

no the 3 meals a day is not the best way to lose wright "you're basically combining everything in a big meal" that one big no no. 5-6 small meals a day should help. Before you run in the morning, have a nice peanut butter & jelly with milk or eat cereal with milk, orange juice and a power/engery bar. then drink water 15 min. before you run, bathroom, then carry a bottle with you and you may wanna run a mile or 2? how does that sound?

3 meals is not enough and you need to have some complex carbs for breakfast, e.g. make a whole wheat sandwich previous night and take it with you on the way to work.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

A peice of fruit, kellogs fruit bar or even a yogurt would be fine.
These are great choices if your in a hurry. But normally I would have maybe a bowl of fruit or some toast.
