It is not a healthy diet, you would be loosing water, not fat. The weight you lose will sooner or later be gained back. A good healthy diet and excercize togethor will help. 30-45 minutes of walking each day is fine. Try eating 5-6 small meals a day it really boosts your metabolism. I eat 6 meals a day and, 3 of them are soy protein drinks, they're good, low caloric content, and high protein. I hope this helps! Don't forget your multivitamins too!

walking is good but in order to really lose weight you need to do cardio work outs. yogurt and fruit is not good fruit has tons of sugar (natural) that's why its good for you, but not a good thing to eat alot of, and you will slow your metabolism by doing this and then when you start eating again, which is inevitable, you will gain faster. eat smaller portions and eat frequently about 10 times a day. this is how you build your metabolism up, make sure its healthy food, and if you get the urge to to cheat eat junk food etc drink a big glass of water this helps fill your stomach and take cravings away... but besides all this your body is fine your in the right weight category. guys don't like skeletons they want some meat, if you lose 10 pounds it will probably come off the places you'd like to keep.

you know what is bad though? I have tried that already, and I know that u will get tired of the same old thing everyday, and when you will start eating everything like u did before you will gain weight. eat a variety of healthy foods and it will be much better for u! trust me, I know how i was disappointed when i was on a strict diet and then just gained everything back.. even more weight than i lose. =( but good luck anyways.

i agree with S1. you don't need a diet, you need a lifestyle and her suggestions are good ones.
but, i do believe that walking can be the answer for you especially, if that is what you are most likely to do and follow through with. walk 45-60 minutes at a consistent pace, not too fast and not too slow, with no breaks, at least every other day if possible and you will be fine. never having exercised before, your body will think it's doing high speed aerobics. then, you can step it up to other things if you're inclined to do so. if you are not, don't let anyone ever discount the benefits of walking.
