Not weird at all! I do believe I'll stop and pick up some chips on my way home tonight. It has been a long time since I had some on a sandwich.

When we were kids, our mom would get bar-b-q potato chips from Charles Chips, and we would put them in our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It was O so yummy! To this day, and I am in my 50's, I still do it once in awhile!

i do like crunchy sandwiches! Tip: take original Lays potato chips and put it in a sandwich with white bread, turkey, and mustard. Trust me it is to die for. Another good one is to put barbeque chips in a wheat bread, with roast beef and mustard. as you can tell, i have tried a lot of things. please go home and make these! so dont worry, because now you know that someone else out there likes crunchy sandwiches just like you.

Mmmmm, crunchy chip sandwiches! tuck them in between the lettuce. There's something about the crunch and the salt.

Also good with cheese and ketchup sandwiches, lol.

My mother in law was Scottish. She used to do that all the time. I never tried it, but she loved it. She used to make sandwiches from french fries too.
