An hour should give you enough time to get there, park, and get ti your seats. Have a "Dodger Dog", but lay off the beer after the sixth inning.

It's only 11 miles, but give yourself about an hour to get to the stadium from Bell. Take the 710 north to the 5, then go north. At the East LA interchange, take the 101 through downtown, then the 110 north about a mile to the Stadium exit. It will be slow, but taking the 5 north to Stadium Way won't be any faster.

However, you asked what time should you leave. I would say around 4:30 to 5. Why? So you can go to TOMMY's before the game and have a double chili cheeseburger. It's the original, at the corner of Beverly and Rampart. Instead of turning north on 110, stay on 101 and exit Alvarado. Left on Alvarado, right on Beverly, and it's about a mile on the right. To get to the stadium from there, take Beverly or Temple back to Alvarado, turn left on Alvardo, go under the 101, then look for the small blue "Stadium" signs. You'll turn right on Scott Road, and go into Elysian park, where the stadium is.

I like to get there early and watch BP (batting practice), and maybe catch a foul ball or a HR hit into the stands.

BTW, they stop selling beer after the 7th inning. Last time I checked, they don't even sell beer in the outfield.

I would say leave no later than 6:30 from Bell.

To be safe, try leaving between 6 & 6:30, then you'll have plenty of time to deal with traffic, park, enjoy the sights, and get your Dodger Dog!

It depends, I personally like to get to the ballpark with at least an hr to spare, however with Friday getaway traffic, I would probably leave Bell about 5 pm. That way if you get to the park early, you can catch batting practice, buy your souvenirs and whatnot.
BTW GO ANGELS BEAT DODGERS!!!

Bell is about 15 miles from Chavez Ravine. If there were no traffic, travel time would be about 30 min. But you're probably traveling during after work rush hour -- so double the travel time to about 60 min.

From Bell-if you want to make the first inning-don't leave after 6-6:3- to be on the safe side. Go Angels!!!
