You could do both, but going out and meeting others is more productive and causes fewer tears. The best thing, though, is to meet new people while sober, and realizing that a breakup isn't the end of the world; it's a change, and that's all.

well i just separated from some one after 12 years i am not gonna cry my self to sleep & put my body,sole,mind there and i am not the type to go out and party ,would not feel right about my self in a bar weird feeling, so i just play with nephews, grand child & this old computer.

you go out and have a good time. that will get him out of your mind. and give you time to find a new love. don't party to the max. just keep it cool. fi you sit at home the crying may not stop good luck & sorry
