Hitler and the Nazis executed every atheist they could get hold of.

Then they went after Communists, gays, mentally defectives, senior citizens, gypsies and finally jews.

Actually in all my study of WWII or the Holocaust I dont recall any Nazi order or actions directly against atheists.

Their were many acts against Communists because they were seen as a political threat. The fact is that many Communists were atheists, but again I dont remember atheists being directly targeted.

Would you mind showing me some information supporting your position?

Where do you get your history about the Catholics 'putting him up to it' in ANYTHING?

Though you ask about atheists, frankly there weren't alot in
the world like today, at least admitting it. So...your logic is faulty. I will say that Pope Pius XII saved 800,000 Jewish lives, hiding Jews in monasteries, convents, and inside the Vatican itself; that he got to the Jews money for travel; that he issued fake baptismal certificates so they could pass as Christian; that he was praised by Jews at the end of the war (by everyone from Golda Meir to the Communist Albert Einstein) as a "righteous gentile"; that his was called by the New York Times the only voice among the silence on the topic of the Jewish persecutions; that the Chief Rabbi of Rome was so impressed by this Pope's holiness and heroism toward his fellow Hebrews that he took his name when he converted to Catholicism --

Please check it out at your local library::
"The Myth of Hitler's Pope," by Rabbi David G. Dalin.

Sure doesn't sound like Catholics are in on it....

Did you know that Catholics were in the concentration camps as well? Interestingly you fail to mention them.

The most famous were Sister Edith Stein, and Father Maxmillian Kolbe

Another thing: Most gays were actually saved due to a underground homosexual lust particularly the officers of the SS. If they found they had a gay man they save him for themselves. Yet another thing you don't know about history.

That's three misses...

I think you may want to go back and learn some history. I don't think I'll be putting you up as a correct R&S historian.

are you high on crack or what ? the nazis wanted to eradicate the jews. how do you see atheism in judaism ? the catholics may have, he was good friend swith the pope and the local bishops at the time. also notice the catholic church did/ said nothing to hinder hitler's regime. they supported him. being atheist doesn't mean hitler wanted to kill 'your fellow believers', it seems much more common that no one really cares what atheists believe, since they aren't supposed to believe in God, yet they are on the religion and spirituality section on yahoo, trying to prove that they are significant- when they cleary are not.
