It is true. The answer may be that they think they are incapable of hate, they think to deny that they hate is simply enough to make it true. It is fashionable to hate or blame Christians for these self righteous people, who claim not to need God.

The irony is that the ones who scream the loudest about hate, intolerance or tolerance or diversity and such issues are the biggest haters and attackers. The mystery is how do they fool so many pelple into thinking that they are right when they are so obviously wrong and that they are good for society when they are so obviously bad, disorientated and unhealthy..

Anything that attacks the good cannot be good itself but must be evil, and there is no real question that Christianity is all about what is the good, while what most haters are about is redefining good in order to change the definition, obviously, but what for? Because once the definition is altered then it is up for grabs in their minds. These vain detractors wish to change good from being defined as what it has always been defined as by reason and religion into a new thing that doesn't outlaw or disapprove of their disordered passions.

What they are not sharp enough to understand is that they are undermining reason and humanity itself in order to free themselves from its rational and logical imperatives. That is why you see such strange things associated with this desire for a false sense of freedom like a return to paganism, satansim, witchcraft, sexual disorders and such, it is a rebellion against all that was authoritative and holds one down in a sense and trying to be free from it.

Some of them especially the inexperienced youth don't know what they are doing or are a part of, some do. Those who don't know or see the big picture think they are being smart fpr being able to punch holes in authority and such things, not seeing that all they do is punch holes in their own reason.

Those that do know ,albeit partly, they are usually just willing slaves of dissipation or have serious personality disorders

Honestly there is intolerance in every category of belief. However, most Pagans preach acceptance while Christians deny the validity of even other forms of Christianity. The Lutherans call the J.W.s a cult and they say the Mormons are mislead, the Methodists have an offshoot called the Primitive Methodists because the original Methodists "lost their way". It is an elitist mindset and a lot of people are tired of it and starting to see the intolerance. Quite frankly it is human nature to form tribes. In high school they call them cliques. Carl Jung said that most people do not mature emotionally past 15. Taking the above into account I tend to agree with him.

I don't hate Christians, friend. I don't hate religion, either.

What I do hate are narrow minded people who run around day and night telling others that they aren't good enough if they think differently that they do. There is no excuse for anyone to treat another human that way.

What I hate are people who are willing to blindly follow what they are told, without taking the time to learn for themselves the reasons behind the rules. If more would take the time to really find out, they might not be so willing to turn their lives over like sheep waiting for slaughter.

My hubby is religious, I'm not. He knows my views, and I know his. More importantly, we respect each others opinions, and don't try to force the other into our own camps.

More than anything else, I hate that.

I think that alot of people may have had a bad experience with the Christian religion. I had a bad experience with the Christian religion when I was growing up but I don't hate them. Hate is a strong word. In fact I think that alot of the Christian values are good ones. It is when the church tries to control others or tells you that unless you act a certain way, you are going to hell, that is when it becomes wrong.

This is a question posted by a Christian.

"Why do some people not want to believe in God?

seriously think about it...what do u hav 2 lose 2 believe in god? giving up your chronic, alcoholic sex chasing, lying, decieving, lifestyle n actually follow moral rules to be a good person?? if you believe in god you know that someone loves you...if you believe in god you feel a sense of peace...believe and you feel like your not alone...you can end up in an eternal paradise!!! y would you not want that?? all you hav 2 do is believe its not that hard...there is PLENTY of evidence out there you just cant be lazy and hav to look...plus would you really wat to end up in eternal HELL? cause no one really knos 4 sure wouldnt it suck it it was true "

If a person made those accusations of me, 'in the street', I would accuse them of Slander.
Bearing False Witness is a Sin in your faith's eyes.
That questioner has Sinned.
Grievously.
Not only by bearing false witness against Me, but by driving me further form your faith by the example they have set.

I do not hate Christians, as a whole.
I hate people who accuse me of being all that I am not.
And hiding behind behind their religion while they do it.
As long as their are people who are willing to threaten me with damnation, judge me without knowing me, slander my good character, and adopt an attitude of being superior to me, I will refuse to associate with them.

That's a good question. Maybe it's out of fear. Maybe they don't want to honor God, religion, people, rules, etc. Maybe they want to do nothing and go their own way telling themselves there is no such thing as Heaven and Hell. appears that they do not want to receive the help a Christian wants to offer them, and even more so, the salvation Jesus has won for them...all of us. Maybe they don't know how to react when someone shows care for and about them.
