Alpine Type X have rms 1000 watts each. Go to Big Buy City they have them for $190.

honestly, Pioneer is so vague about the specs on the premier, I speculate it wouldn't stack up that well to top shelf woofers. For the amount of money you are spending you could buy a single woofer that would keep up or beat out the pairs you are looking at.

of the three I would choose the Alpines.

You could also consider:
a single IDMAX
an Eclipse aluminum (similar price if u buy on ebay)
2 ID v3's (depending on the box can get louder than the alpines)
a pair of Kappa Perfect's (also slightly louder than the alpines)
a single Adire Audio Brahma or Tumult (total skull crushers and sound good doing it)

I know I've beaten this horse, but a pair of lanzar Opti 12's in a larger than recommended vented box. (they are an awesome value if you rate them performance / $). The Heritage die cast 12 is basically the same sub in disguise. It has a fiberglass cone vs carbon or aluminum like the opti, but sounds about the same.

Ideally to get the max out of your amp (1 ohm) you want 2 subs with 4 ohm dvc's or you want 1 sub with 2 ohm dvc's. Either way you will get 1600 w from your amp. all would be wired in parallel.

out of those 3 i would go with the pioneer. and as for not knowing whats better 2 or 4 ohms look at your amp ratings. the pioneer is dual 4ohm so u can wire them down to 1ohm like this
http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=2&woofer_imp=4
that will push 1600watts between the 2 or 800 to each sub

edit
to javin u call them paperweights but pioneer has the loudest 12 in the world right now. i dont like their low end stuff but their high end is great.

out of the 3 the pioneers have the highest rms power(1000 watts ),highest sensitivity (89 db),and the lowest frequency (18 hz) so that is what i would go with.if your going to run it at 1 ohm then get the dual 4 and if your going to run it at 2 ohms then get the dual 2

75% of all world SPL records were won with Kicker Products.
I wouldn't waste my money on those heavy paperweights (Pioneers).

When it comes to output, excursion and cone surface area play the role. These are the 'determining' factors.

Again, 75% of all world SPL records were won with Kicker products. That oughta do it for you...

Good Luck!
