Eat LOTS of protein and just as much carbs... Try to get 340 grams of protein per day and eat 4-6 times per day.
Take b6 and choline along with a b-complex vitamin and a multivitamin.
Don't overly rely on protein drinks. Eat a lot of meat, fish and eggs and use the shakes to bump up the protein even further between meals.

Keep lifting and eat as much as you can every day. Eat til you are full then eat more. Eat 6,7,8 meals a day. You will gain muscle and fat both, but the fat will make you look even bigger (the beefy look you talk about).
Here's what I used to do when I wanted to bulk up:
Buy some kind of weight gainer product (I like Cytogainer by cytosport, the company that makes muscle milk, its expen$ive though) and mix in a blender:
3 or 4 big scoops ice cream
2 or so cups milk
3 or 4 scoops of weight gainer
Mix it up and drink half for breakfast, half before bed. Thats an easy 1500-2000 calories a day right there.
In between just eat as much as you can stomache. Milk is always a great option. Peanut butter is good too.

Protein shakes, protein and energy bars, beef and pork, lots of food, and lots of pumping iron at the gym. Lots of calories!! Basically eat whatever you want if you want to look bigger.
