Eating small meals through out the day helps the blood sugar stay stable, fuels energy and keeps you healthy. When you don't consistently eat through out the day your blood sugar drops and in my experience I feel really tired around 3 or 4 in the afternoon.

Just eat snacks between breakfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner. The rule of thumb is to eat every 2 to 3 hours to keep the energy going.

Snacks:
Fruit and nuts
Protein bar with low sugar
String cheese and fruit
Light yogurt

always pair carbs with protein so you won't get an insulin spike which can make you feel tired.

Some cardio 15 to 30 min's a day.

Hi.
I don´t know if you are lifting weights but if you aren´t then you should. If you add some muscle you will increase your metabolism. It has recently been discovered that for every pound of muscle gained 50-100 extra calories per day are burned, even at rest! Anaerobic weight training exercises burn five times more calories than steady-state aerobic activities.
Hope this helped.

Lift weights because it will increase your lean mass which is one of the biggest factors in your metabolism and will burn extra calories 24 hours per day.

Eat many small meals to provide a constant trickle of nutrients so that your body does not experience a famine and lower your resting metabolic rate.

Avoid alcohol because it disrupts the Krebs cycle and slows your metabolism (in addition to supplying empty calories).

They say you can eat more smaller meals more times a day like 4-6 small meals during the course of a day. I have also seen vitamins at GNC that you take in between regualar eating like 3 meals a day, never takin them though. anything cardio during the day is good too.
