A 9yr old girl is still at the stage that they like things like dolls, but at that age they are just at the beginning of wanting to have things a bit more than dolls. I think you should buy her a board game. When I was about 9 someone bought me the game called Ludo and it gave me hours of fun. It is also good that she has 2 sisters so that she can play with them too. This present is good as it is different to the usual gift of clothes, or toys. Another option is that maybe you could take her on a father daughter outing to a theme park, coz quality time with you is a present that she can remember.

--bratz doll are very popular
--take her to build a bear and her her make her own animal or doll
--take her to the local mall and do a small shopping spree to let her pick what she likes and go out for lunch
--MP3 or cd players are popular
--gift card to the movie theater for her and a friend or 2
--they have a ton of bratz dvds or the movies from the disney channel like High School Musical, Cow Bells, Cheetah Girl 1 and 2 that are popular with all age girls

Get her a giftcard to the limited too for $35. Then that way she can get a new shirt or some shoes. Then get her a cranium board game. Or the new game UNO spin which would be $20
So all toghether it would cost about

$55-60 dollars
Limited 2 gift card would be @Ldt (Limited too)
Uno & Cranium game would be at Wal-mart, K-bee-toys, or Toys-"R"-Us.

It is impossible to go wrong with a trip to her favorite store. Take her to the store, give her a gift card, talk to her like she makes sense about what she wants to get, then take her out to eat somewhere WITHOUT the other two kids.

That's three presents in one. Her own money to spend, respect of her opinions on the purchase and your focused attention **WITHOUT ARGUING** for the entire trip.

These are things that are important to them at that age.

I buy my boys gift cards. You can get them sometimes at your local mall and they can use them in any of the stores within the mall. I also buy gift cards for book stores. You can make a day out of it, pick them up on a Saturday morning, go to the bookstore, they have story time and everything now days.

Ask her what her favorite store to shop in is and get her a gift card! Make the gift card as much as you would spend on her for a gift. Good luck!

I have a 9 yr old and she loves crafts. You can get inexpensive kits for weaving, beading, painting sewing, pottery anything. My daughter especially likes knitting wheels. She makes her own winter hats and has fun doing it.

If she still play with dolls get a cute Bratz with cool accessories or just get her a camera.Something that's not too babyish and not to grown.
