I tried this great mexican place called El Tepeyac Cafa and other places. Any ethnicity and just great tasting food and good values are wanted. Anywhere around the Los Angeles area.

Natraj is a great Indian restaurant on Second Street in Long Beach, at the Belmont Shore. Always best to order off of the menu, but if you have to have buffet, they have lamb on the buffet on Sundays, and champagne with the meal. And, though it's been a while since I've been there, since I've moved, I believe they're open all day on Sunday, instead of closing mid-day like most Indian restaurants. Mon-Sat the buffet is only chicken and veggies, and they're closed 3pm-5pm.

There are also quite a few nice places to shop nearby, and some coffee shops, so it's a good area to spend a few hours in. Sometimes the record shop on the same street has live music acts... Damien Rice played there not too long ago, for free.
