Aluminum windows, original to house built in 89. Is there some sort of spray i can put on them to revive the aluminum.
I am trying to sell my home and need to perk up those windows.
Also, I have white house/black roof, what color should I paint the shutters, they are black now, but I would like to update them.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is a company that specialises in spraying aluminium frames. Thats all I remember about them though.

You could DIY, go to bunnings or another hardware store and ask them what paint for aluminium. You can get little mini spray bottles to put paint in now, makes life easy - no paintbrush :) . Bit of newspaper and masking tape to keep the surrounds clean, and away you go!

I would have thought black shutters were the way to go. White might be okay but might be too much?

Ooo what about grey paint for the shutters?

I wouldn't paint the aluminum. Big pain and unless you clean them really well the paint will chip of very easily. You can clean the aluminum with some steel wool and detergent. The windows are out of date, the best you can do is have them clean. Painting them is not going to make them new vinyl or wood windows, there still aluminum.
If I was to repaint the shutters Forest Green would be my choice. Don't buy new.

New aluminum shutters with paint for aluminum to match.Careful how much labor and material you put in. Will you get it back? ...and will they like it..the reno and the color? Make it a "handyman's special" and let them do it.

well there is a paint in aluminium color that matches perfectly!
As for the roof , i would prefer a dark gray color!
Otherwise you should paint the whole house, ex. in pal or peach color and the roof in deep red-brown with dark green shutters
