does anything else do that, or is it just chocolate?
oh, and i mean like chewing gum or bubble gum, not the gums that hold you teeth.

i must be asking this in a confusing way. so here: when you are chewing a peice of gum, and then eat a peice of chocolate with the gum in your mouth, why does the gum fall apart? (P.S. this has nothing to do with teeth!)

Its not the chocolate per se, but most likely the sugar. Also, if you have the habit of eating chocolate before bedtime, the milk solids in it create a coating on your teeth that can trap the sugar and other particles against your teeth and gums. Be sure and brush before you go to bed!
