I was wondering how bad a side of stomach tattoo would hurt? Like on a scale of 1 to 10.

honey the pain would be a 10. i have a tattoo on my lower back from one side to the other and yes when it hits bone it hurts like HELL. trust me so i hope you can handle pain. if your a skinny girl like me, yes your most definetly going to feel it real good.

All tattoos hurt, I don't care what anyone says, at some point you feel something that is far from a cuddly hug from a teddy bear.
No one can tell you how bad it will be on a scale of 1-10 because everyone has a different tolerance to pain. I don't think pain should be a determining factor when getting a piercing or tattoo. Tough it out, it'll be worth it.

I have tattoo's on both sides of my stomach, on a pain scale about an 8. but all depends how big the tattoo is going to be. mine are 9 inches by 7 inches.

it depends on where the stomach. Mostly anywhere on the stomach would not hurt too much because you are tattooing on either fat or muscle. It is only when you get to bone that it hurts. It might hurt about a 5 or so on the very side of your stomach by the side but that would be all.

They all hurt. People who say they don't are just not remembering the pain! I would think its gonna hurt pretty bad since its a tender area. But, its also a unique area, so go for it. I have 4 and the one that hurt the worst on me is lower back but thats cuz of previous scarring from epidural. I'm thinking on a scale of 1 to 10....7. Sorry!

I have one inside of the hip bone region on my stomach. It's below my pants line. I don't remember it hurting, just really hard scratching sensation. It depends on YOUR threshold for pain. Generally fleshy/muscular areas are less painful, bony areas or those with just nerves and skin are a little more tender. Try pinching a small bit of skin there really hard. It probably will hurt a bit more than that. Again it varies from person to person.

depends on your pain tolerance. and of course if you have a low one...how bad do you really want the tattoo? i have 6 now and the only ones that really hurt were the ones on my back and im a baby about pain but i really wanted it done so i kept thinking to my self how hot it was gonna look when it was done

i have some letters up and down my ribs and it didnt hurt but the clover on my lower left side of my stomach was a little painful like a 3 and the other was like a 5 but just because your ribs are sinsitve if its your first on i would recomend your upper arm, upper back or calf.

They all hurt, haha.. its needles! It's not unbearable.. I have one up my side. I have quite a few tatts and I cant even say which hurt the worst..
The person giving the tatt is the key. If they talk to you and get you through it, then you are going to be ok.
The pain is rather annoying, but you have to expect that right?
