most "christians" will not be welcomed in because of their ill treatment of others, and have to stand there watching homosexuals and members of other religious groups and atheists walk through those "pearly gates" because we lived good honest lives without standing in judgement and being hypocrites?
Of course it's entirely hypothetical, but so are most of the questions on R&S, eh...

many claim to be christians and are everything they shouldn't be - they are the deceivers that turn us away from God... it's not a stab at real christians, but at those who call themselves christians without acting the part.

I never said I was without sin, duh. merely that most people non-christians meet calling themselves christian act in a way that would shame the god they claim.
Yes I'm judging them, we have to be able to see what is right and wrong, i meant those who judge where judgement should not exist. And in my experience, the christians are LAST to help, they'll say god bless and walk away, expecting their god to do the work.

I truly believe that if there really is a "judgement day", that there will be a lot of people who will be amazed to find how much they've gone wrong as far as constantly making fun of homosexuals, atheists, and members of other religious groups. Not all Christians, obviously, but some.

I agree with you in a way...

I am a Christian, and I see people on here that claim to be Christians and are totally not acting like it. But Christians are sinners, they do bad stuff and make bad mistakes, they arent perfect. I would however, doubt if some of the people on here are actually true Christians, and dont just hold the title.

But, as for getting into heaven, if someone has truly put their trust in Christ, then they will go to heaven. And, if you wanted to get technical, by Biblical standards and beliefs, nobody that is not a Christian will get into heaven.

good question, but what is the ill treatment you refer to. First, who are these people who lived good honest lives without standing in judgement and being hypocrital? Your question (hypothetical) sounds like you just judged "most Christians" by excluding them from heaven, so comeon back out and stand with us sinners. In my opinion Christian people are the first to be there and give help when needed. lots of non christians do also, but youcan count on the Christian.

If heaven exists, then I am not sure how much of a 'heaven' it would be if the people who resided within did so because of their enjoyment of suffering of others. Enjoying the suffering of others, regardless of the reason why, seems to me to be the reason why most people would be denied access to heaven. It also seems to me that giving up such feelings and/or resentments would most likely be the first thing a person would be required to give up in order to gain access.

If you like 'lording' it over people, feeling superior, it seems to me there are lots of other places to do that besides heaven (earth, for example.)

Heaven Exists and only the True Christians Will Walk in

I'm a Christian, and I don't deserve to go to Heaven. I have sin in my life but That's why Jesus died for me, because I had a debt that I couldn't pay.

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Jesus paid my debt and your if you only accept it.

John 3:16 - For God so Loved the world that he gave his only Son, whoever believes on him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Many people think that by being good they will make it to Heaven.

Tit 3:5 not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

I hope that you will see, how much Jesus Loves you, He died for you, giving you the opportunity to accept that and go to Heaven.

I hope I see you there one day.

That's pretty sad. You are willing to accept the concept of heaven just to make a stab at Christianity.

There is only one way into heaven and it does NOT have anything to do with being good, or honest or any of that is has to do with being covered with the BLOOD OF JESUS.

Without the shedding of blood there is NO remission of sin.

END OF STORY

I think Christians deserve to go to heaven too. They are great sinners that’s true and they admit it, but you know it’s proper for us to “love the sinner and hate the sin.”
