I take hydroxycut hardcore (for about a week now) and have definitely noticed a substantial difference in body fat- I have lost about 6 pounds already, primarily of fat I think.

Look on the back of the bottle for ingredients- one hardcore pill as it says right on there has as much caffeine as 3 cups of coffee (300 mg). If after a week you take the reccomended 6 capsules daily, thats like drinking 18 cups of coffee a day. So in a word, YES. Caffeine is the main ingredient. As far as I can tell the only other real ingredient in it is Yomhimbine which has similar effects on the body as caffeine from what I have read- increased nor-adrenaline production.
Increased nor-adrenaline production activates the sympathetic nervous system, AKA the flight-or flight response. Heart rate and breathing increase, stomache functions are inhibited. So basically what it does (among other things) is increase your heart rate- burning more calories- while suppressing appetite.
So do they work? Sure seems like it to me. I just hope it doesnt give me a heart attack.
