My dog ate only Alpo dry and the Milk-Bone Soft and Chewy treats. Is there a connection in the poison?

My understandng that it was related to canned food only. I haven't seen any food listed that wasn't sold in cans.

Your dog should be safe. I have pets too. I know you want to see it in writing. The list for dogs is at the bottom. And it is just can food and that sold in pouches.

Nope.. It is canned and foil packs of moist foods that are the problem
Alpo isn't a good dogfood at all tho... Milk Bone soft and chewy treats I haven't heard of before.. But Alpo is a food you should get away from. Check the ingredients on the side of the bag... YUCK!

Iams, Eukanuba, Hills, Science Diet, Pro-Plan, and Purina are NOT preservative free, ALL contain ethoxyquin. (Ethoxy was developed by Monsanto as a rubber hardener and insecticide). It is believed to cause liver and kidney dis-ease, cancer, immune dis-ease, skin problems, birth deformities, and thyroid problems. And be aware of food containing BHA and BHT avoid at all costs.

From the last thing I saw, it was just in can and package can food(cuts and gravy). It is with a lot of foods though, so far, dry food and treats are safe.
The list of Dog foods recalled are as follows:
America's Choice; Preferred Pets; Authority; Award; Best Choice; Big Bet; Big Red; Bloom; Bruiser; Cadillac; Companion; Demoulas Market Basket; Fine Feline Cat; Shep Dog; Food Lion; Giant Companion; Great Choice; Hannaford; Hill Country Fare; Hy-Vee; Key Food; Laura Lynn; Loving Meals; Main Choice; Mixables; Nutriplan; Nutro Max; Nutro Natural Choice; Nutro; Ol'Roy; Paws; Pet Essentials; Pet Pride; President's Choice; Price Chopper; Priority; Publix; Roche Bros; Save-A-Lot; Schnucks; Springsfield Pride; Sprout; Stater Bros; Total Pet; My True Friend; Western Family; White Rose; Winn Dixie and Your Pet.

REMEMBER ITS CANNED AND FOIL PACKAGED CUTS AND GRAVY FOOD

There shouldn't be they identified that if was only in the wet food like in a can or pouch. But you can check to be safe Just go to the Menu Foods site & they will give you all the listings of what had been contaminated.

I thought it was just in the canned food. It was in the gluten used in the gravy.
